a Step Closer to 'Leftover Treasure'

Alibaba E-Commerce Co. received regulatory approval late last month to buy a
majority stake in Tianhong Asset Management Co., which started and manages Yu'e
Bao. It will take a 51% stake for 1.18 billion yuan. Under the deal, Tianhong
will give its management team an 11% ownership stake, perhaps providing further
motivation to improve Yu'e Bao's slipping returns.
阿里巴巴进一步加强对余额宝的控制

浙江阿里巴巴电子商务有限公司上个月底获得监管批准，将以人民币11.8亿元收购天弘基金51%的股份。天弘基金是余额宝的发起人兼管理者。根据此次交易，天弘基金将给予其管理层11%的余额宝所有权股份，此举或可以改善余额宝目前不断下降的回报率。
