Billionaire　activist　investor　Carl　Icahn　on　Friday　took　a　shot　at　Wall　Street　for　its　recent　lack　of　faith　in　Apple　Inc.(AAPL)，　and　also　called　on　Apple　Chief　Executive　Tim　Cook　to　loosen　his　company’s　purse　strings　even　further.

　　有关股票回购的消息是在2月6日由苹果公司出面证实的，之前对蒂姆·库克进行了专访的《华尔街日报》最先披露出来。根据苹果公司发言人的介绍，上述回购行动分为两个步骤，一是通过所谓的“股票回购提速计划”(ASR)实现，大约花去120亿美元，二是通过公开市场收购了大约20亿美元的股份。

　　Late　Thursday，Apple　chief　executive　Tim　Cook　said　in　an　interview　with　the　Wall　Street　Journal　that　the　company　was　“surprised”　when　its　stock　dropped　8　percent　the　day　after　its　earnings　report　and　revenue　outlook.　He　told　the　newspaper　he　wanted　to　be　“aggressive”　and　“opportunistic.”

　　However，　Icahn，　who　has　called　upon　Apple　to　repurchase　even　more　of　its　stock，　said　on　Twitter，　“Keep　buying　Tim.　You　still　have　$145　billion　in　cash.”
　　曾经多次敦促苹果回购更多股票的伊坎在“推特”上说：“蒂姆，请继续买吧，你还拿着1450亿现金。”(《华尔街日报》)
　　在持有苹果股份后，伊坎多次建议公司利用手中现金进行股票回购操作，在他看来，苹果应在本财年(到9月份结束)前再花掉500亿美元。目前，距离苹果公司2月28日召开股东大会还有几周时间，伊坎正在号召股东对该提议进行投票。
